It makes it all worthwhile, to have an early start from down the coast, a couple of willing hands to help set up the workshop, then see eager faces come through the door to focus on re-sharpening old handsaws in preference to the convenience of walking through the doors of the supermarkets to buy throwaways.
To prepare the venue with limited resources and limited assistance was a challenge however the solid tables (seating height) performed well though our clients needed to sit down on the job to allow a comfortable working height to the saw blades.

As can be seen from the snaps, there was plenty of activity, focus and concentration coupled with determination to master the art of re-furbishing a saw blade and at the end of the session there was positive response from the participants who came through our doors as strangers and left as friends.
